Hi All,
Let's see if I can get this blog thing going once again. I have a lot to say about the Vintage and Painting Furniture business.....I just have not sat down to write it. So, if I am ever gonna get this bloggin' thing started then I'd better do it now.
QUESTION???
I saw someone's blog about a product that you can (mould, mold, moulde) into a piece of broken furniture. For example, the blog showed a broken clawfoot off of a chair....with this product she was able to mold a new clawfoot for the chair. For the life of me I cannot find the blogger who wrote about this; therefore, I do not know the name of the product; therefore, I cannot make a new clawfoot on my own broken furniture.......Any ideas of any such products??
Thank you, thank you!
Jeanie
Hi Jeannie! Thanks for stopping by. I did a post on repairing a gesso mirror and it would be the same process for a claw foot. Here is the link http://thepolkadotcloset.blogspot.com/2011/07/how-to-repair-gesso-frame.html Or on my side bar scroll to repairing a gesso mirror. Good luck, can't wait to see what you are up to!

HI Jeanie! I'm not sure where you are from, but in my area, SEVERAL women are selling these insert bundles for anywhere from $3 - $5 each week. I would probably start asking around your area.....I don't even really know where to start asking though (sorry!) because this one just came to me by word of mouth! Anyway, it has been a huge help for me to get my foot in the door of this "couponing" trend. Really a good money saver without the complexities.....let me know if you find anything in your area!
